Every listing is described against the same published guide
A texture name is a description, not a marketing word. Whatever the listing states, the hair delivers.
| Texture | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Straight | Sleek and smooth from root to tip. Holds a curl when styled; returns straight when washed. |
| Body Wave | A loose, consistent S-pattern with soft movement. Can be straightened or curled and returns to its wave. |
| Deep Wave | Tighter, uniform waves with full volume. The pattern returns after washing and air-drying. |
| Water Wave | A natural, slightly irregular wave with a soft, wet-look finish. |
| Kinky Curly | Tight coils that blend with natural type 3c–4a hair. The fullest volume per bundle. |
How we describe hair
What every listing states
Length
Measured stretched straight, from weft to tip, stated to the inch. Wavy and curly textures naturally hang shorter than their stretched length — roughly 1–2 inches for waves, 2–4 inches for tight curls.
Density & weight
Bundle weight in grams (a full bundle is about 95–100g). Wig density stated as a percentage — 150% is natural-full, 180% is full, 200%+ is glam-full.
Lace & construction
Lace type (HD, transparent or standard Swiss), lace size (closure 4×4 / 5×5, frontal 13×4 / 13×6), cap construction and whether a wig is glueless.
Origin & processing
Where the hair was sourced, whether it is raw or virgin, and any steam processing used to set a texture. Nothing chemically processed is sold as virgin.
Descriptions are not inflated
A 20-inch curly bundle is listed as 20 inches stretched — and the listing tells you it will wear shorter. If we are between two densities, we publish the lower one.
See a full listing →Minimal shedding is not a defect. All wefted hair sheds a few strands when first combed; that is normal. Continuous shedding, tangling that returns after detangling, and a synthetic smell when heat-styled are defects — and covered.
